To report suspected child abuse, please contact both Child Protective Services (CPS) AND Law Enforcement. They will assess the information you provide to determine the severity of the case and whether it will be a joint investigation by both agencies.

Please provide as much of the following information as possible:
  1. Name, birthdate, and address of child.
  2. Name, address, and phone number of the child’s parent or guardian.
  3. The nature and extent of the abuse or neglect.
  4. Any evidence of previous incidents.
  5. Identity of the perpetrator
  6. Any other information which may be helpful to establish the cause of the child’s abuse or neglect.

​You do not need to have all of the above information
when you call to make a report, but the more accurate information you can provide, the better equipped the offices will be to assess the child’s safety.
